When we discuss the topics of approaching women, or how to approach women, we invariably come up with the skill of conversation being part of the skill of how to approach women successfully.

I've always been complimented at my ability to initiate conversation with anybody at any time about anything - even when there is presumably "nothing to talk about". It's a skill I have and in this piece of writing I will tell you the SIMPLE magic to my success.

The best way to spark a conversation is to ask questions. Too simple? Well, let me describe.

What do you ask questions about?

Well, I always just ask questions about whatever I want to know. It varies from person to person. But normally if I am meeting someone new I would ask questions such as "Do you have brothers and sisters?" "Do you live with your parents?" "Do you have a lot of friends?"

Usually a person speaks for a while when answering and that provides you more data to ask more questions about. Often I will make a comment if it is proper or if they ask me a question in reply to my question I just answer their question then ask them a different one of my questions.

The challenging times are when people just give you "yes" and "no" type answers. That doesn't render much to work off of.

When I think the situation is awkward or the person isn't conversing much (like the above "yes" and "no" answers), then I talk about how annoying the situation is. Tell something like "This is upsetting. I feel so awkward. I don't know what to speak. Do you feel awkward too?"

Normally you can get a little dialogue going on that topic and relieve a lot of stress just by admitting that you feel awkward and don't know what to talk. Then go onto a question like "Ok, let's look at what we can speak about. What are your interests? Do you have any pastime activities?"

Another questioning method is to pay attention to what a person puts their concentration on and talk about or ask questions about that. So, just like, if you are in a cafe and the person you are dating isn't speaking much, just looking at the menu, you might say "Kind of an enjoyable menu. What seems to be good to you?" That might spark a conversation about food items or restaurants and menus, etc.

This technique is also good for meeting unfamiliar persons. If you are in a supermarket next to some one beautiful who is staring at "lamb chops" you might say: "I see you are interested in the lamb chops. Do you know a perfect way to cook them, I've always wanted to try them, but actually don't know how to cook them."

Remember also that you are not always going to connect with everyone you meet. So if you try, try, and look for a decent discussion going and it doesn't happen then this is possibly not the best person for you.
